With a background in business and creative leadership Brooke manages the Marca team. He also works alongside clients to develop creative, digital and communications strategy and oversees delivery of all projects.

Brooke has worked with many of New Zealand's leading organisations (large and small) across a diverse range of industries and in the private and Government sectors. Meridian Energy, New Zealand Aluminium Smelter, Air New Zealand, Stable Property, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

Having honed his craft at designworks he uses creative thinking, planning and his lived experience as a business owner and company director, at Creature Design, to solve business challenges and help organisations transform their impact.

Brooke is an energetic and strategic, yet practical, thinker with a commercial head – a leader of projects, people and creative teams.

We follow a simple design thinking methodology adopted and proven by many of the worlds leading businesses and New Zealand’s most successful and enduring brands.

Discover

This first phase helps us understand, rather than simply assume, what the problem is. It involves speaking to and spending time with people to uncover the simple truths (and issues – perceived and real).

Define

Insights gathered from the discovery phase help us to define the challenge in a different way and with a clear perspective.

Design

Design, in the broadest sense, encourages us to give different answers to the clearly defined problem. We seek inspiration from everywhere and co-design with different people across a range of disciplines.

Deliver

Delivery involves testing and building out different solutions at small-scale. We reject those that won’t work and improve the ones that will – then we bring them to life, on time and within budget.
